Police logged a black iPhone in the search protocol. It is absent from the evidence inventory and the evidence decision that followed.
Police logged a black iPhone in the protocol of the June 6, 2023 search of Travis's apartment. It is absent from the September 10 inspection of the seized items and from the investigator's decision on physical evidence.
His defense told the court the phone "is not only not attached to the materials of the criminal case as material evidence, but is also missing." It could have confirmed or refuted the prosecution's theory of a drug partnership.
The court file holds no data from any phone or computer of his.
